Meets injured persons at GMC, assures all possible support

Jammu, May 19 (KNO): Leader of Opposition and senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Sunil Sharma on Monday continued to visit the shelling affected areas in Rajouri district to assess the damage and interacted with the affected villagers. According to the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), LOP Sharma in a post on a social networking site has stated that he visited Chatyar (Chingus) village in Rajouri district. He was accompanied by the BJP National Secretary and MLA Dr Narinder Singh, J&K BJP Vice President and MLA Sham Lal Sharma, J&K BJP General Secretary Adv. Vibodh Gupta and MLA Adv. Ranbir Singh Pathania and District President Dev Raj Sharma. “LoP J&K Assembly Sh. Sunil Sharma, BJP National Secretary and MLA Dr Narinder Singh, J&K BJP Vice President and MLA Sh. Sham Lal Sharma, J&K BJP General Secretary Adv. Vibodh Gupta and MLA Adv. Ranbir Singh Pathania, District President Sh. Dev Raj Sharma visited Village Chatyar (Chingus) in Rajouri District to hear the concerns of residents affected by unprovoked shelling from Pakistan,” the post reads. Meanwhile, the Leader of Opposition further visited the Government Medical College (GMC) Rajouri and met the people who were injured in Pakistan shelling. Sharma inquired about their health, well-being and the care they were receiving. Besides, he assured them of all possible support. “Visited the Government Medical College (GMC) in #Rajouri, met with patients who got injured due to shelling by Pakistan. Inquired about their health, well-being, and the care they were receiving, and wished them a speedy. Assured them of all possible support,” Sharma wrote on X. Pertinently, Sharma has been visiting the shelling affected villages for the last three consecutive days and interacting with the affected families. Several houses were damaged due to shelling by Pakistan while many people also lost their lives as well—(KNO)
